Jason King on Writing Notes For D’Angelo’s ‘Voodoo’

Thursday, January 31st, 2013

There’s a lot to love about our recent reissue of D’Angelo’s Voodoo, but truly one of our favorite details of this release are Jason King’s liner notes. It’s hard not to thumb through them every time we give our copies a spin. Jason put together this awesome video about his process writing the notes, the players, and why Voodoo means so much to him. Check it out!

To read the notes in their entirety, grab a copy of D’Angelo’s Voodoo. Available now at LightInTheAttic.net!
