Oldominion, one of Seattle’s oldest most prolific hip-hop crews is celebrating their 10th anniversary this weekend, and who better to help throw a party than the best dressed hip-hop trio in Seattle?  Yup, The Saturday Knights (Barfly being a member of Oldominion and all) are putting on their birthday best to help Onry and crew ring out their first decade in style.  If you haven’t seen The Saturday Knights before, this is your chance to catch possibly the biggest party pumping sons of bitches rocking the mic these days.

Oldominion will be playing two, yes TWO anniversary shows, the first at the Vera Project in the afternoon on Saturday, the second (with TSK, Grayskul and Mr. Hill) later that evening at Neumo’s.  These are going to be great shows.  You do not want to miss.

Oh sure, we might’ve brought a stunning candidate in to the most important office of the land, but now, seriously my friends, we have something even more important to invest our time in: making sure The Saturday Knights video for “45″ makes it in to rotation on MTVU (a college MTV channel, that we’re too old to know anything about).  So here’s what you have to do:

Head on over here and vote for The Saturday Knights “On The Dance Floor” (that’s “45″ but given a bland, scared title by the good folks over at MTV – thanks guys!).  Vote many many many times.  Vote so many times that our little friends The Saturday Knights scale to the top of the list and drunken college kids across the country can watch The Saturday Knights and say, “Oh shit, what have I been missing?”

You can’t vote forever, so get out there and get this done!

If you’ll remember briefly, you might recall that the crazed-trio that is The Saturday Knights hosted there 2nd Annual The Saturday Knights’ Donut Eating a while back.  If you were lucky enough to catch the hilarity that ensued, you may have noticed that the event was hosted by none other than Almost Live!-alum and all around great lady Nancy Guppy.  Well, Ms. Guppy was kind enough film the event for her weekly show on The Seattle Channel, The Art Zone, (somewhere in the, er 20s on the television dial) and last night at 8:00 ‘o’ clock premiered the footage.

To be honest, and slightly more reserved for a moment, this really was an amazing event, fun as shit, full of people looking to have a good time, and Ms. Guppy has done a wonderful job of showcasing the spirit of it all.  We thank you for your time Nancy!
