Free Basin’ Friday | LHI Box Set Giveaway!

Friday, December 6th, 2013

This week we have a very special Free Basin’ Friday. We will be giving away a standard edition copy of  the LHI Box Set, There’s A Dream I’ve Been Saving.

LITA109_StandardEdition (henry)

In celebration of the recently released box set, we have put up a handful of billboards throughout the east side of Los Angeles commemorating the return of Lee Hazlewood Industries. So, for your chance to win this week’s prize, we want you to take a picture of yourself in front of at least 5 of the billboards and post them to Instagram using the hashtag #lhiboxset. The first person to complete the challenge wins. The winner will be chosen next friday.

For hints at where some of the billboards are located, check out the “Who Is Lee Hazlewood?” video below by our friend and filmmaker Michael Reich…

OK, so now you’re just excluding anybody not in LA? What gives?

I have just purchased my plane ticket and I am on my way to winning! Didn’t want to deal with these temperatures in Wisconsin anyways.

Bummer on being LA-exclusive. Would love to take part in this.

After 2 days of sleuthing, and pounding the streets of LA, I have submitted to LHI what I believe, and hope, is the winning submission. Emailed 5 photos this morning to LHI. Don’t have an android device and never used Instagram. Let me tell you this was NO EASY CONTEST!!!! Nor a lot of fun. Re-reading the contest rules, I am now aware that the LHI billboards submitted did NOT have to have unique picture content. Apparently just 5 different locations. That would have cut my effort down to 1 day. Well… if LHI certifies my results it will all be worth it —- my wife thinks/knows I’m crazy. Been a LH fan for at least 20 years. That’s crazy???

    No twitter account for me,
    No Los Angeles around here.
    Wait, yes!
There is a bowling alley named Los Angeles somewhere around.

    Nope, nothing.
    Just shoes and chips.
    No billboard.
