While The Blakes, God love ‘em, are currently tromping through California and the Great Southwest, big things are going on abroad for our trio. Radio Le Mouv, the biggest radio station in a little place called Paris, is playing the hard-rocking growl of “Two Times” not once, not twice, but THREE times daily. That means the sophisticated ears of Frenchies all over the city are getting a wicked Blakes mind-blast every meal of the goddamn day.
If that weren’t exciting enough, Canal Plus (purveyors of good taste in film and music) just posted the “Don’t Bother Me” video on their beautiful little website along other bombastic sound-creators The Gossip and The Kills.
France is just wishing and hoping right now that The Blakes would swoop on over and deliver a live rock bomb on their frog-eating doorsteps. Yup, bet they’re wishing that right now … … … … …
