Wow, I am impressed with the look of these awesome sets of wax and stax, well, you out did yourselves, I must have both of these delicious goodies. I was turned onto Lee Hazlewood thanks to Landlocked Records in Bloomington, Indiana, and have always loved the music from the Stax record label. Oh man, these are definitely the two releases I’m most excited about for RSD. Stax taught me at a young age that you didn’t need to get fancy to bump, and Lee is just incredible – I remember stumbling across “Down From Dover” and being blown away, and revisiting the album after the Go! Team sampled it.
