  1. Katy M says:

Don’t make me choose between Betty Davis, Wheedle’s Groove, and Serge Gainsbourg! (but do make me choose between available T-shirt colors) :)

  2. Lee Hazlewood is the best and even better with a glass of scotch.

  3. I gotta go with The Free Design.

  4. Rachel Mehl says:

Karen Dalton. I just love her picture on that shirt.

  5. MC Andrews says:

Some great, legendary artists on there, but few are cooler than Lee Hazlewood – a true American badass!

  6. Cliff May says:

When i die i want to come back as Lee Hazlewood’s mustache. Carry on…

  7. Jason Jones says:

Barton Lee Hazlewood (with Serge and Gabor following closely behind)

  8. Andy Ginther says:

    You’re a monk, I’m a monk, we’re all monks! yeah THE MONKS!!!

  9. Matt Snodgrass says:

Josh Wright is my favorite Light in the Attic artist.

  10. justin b says:

Wendy Rene is a true gem of the Stax vault.

  11. Sam P says:

I’m gonna have to second The Free Design. Mind-blowing.

  12. Jim Bruzzese says:

Wendy Rene is my favorite LITA artist and the Wheedle’s Groove 45 box is my favorite LITA item.

  13. David Stuart says:

Lee Hazlewood, definitely, though that is one damn fine roster of peoples, for sure!

  14. Henry Wilson says:

Hardest question so far, maybe jim sullivan but also maybe michael chapman

  15. Joshua Davis says:

Love Lee, Chapman, Wheedles Box but the true obscure classic gem is Jim Sullivan UFO.

  16. Anthony Sams says:

Wendy Rene. ’nuff said. Thanks for dropping “After Laughter Comes Tears…”, it’s beautiful.

  17. Sean Moore says:

Serge Gainsbourg was a true pioneer of the 60′s French pop scene. He’s my favorite LITA artist without a doubt.

  18. Rachel says:

How cool! Hmmm…how can I pick just one – Rodriguez, I suppose.

  19. Ramone666 says:

Tough choice, but I’d pick Karen Dalton.

  20. eden says:

    wendy rene!! amazing.

  21. Rich Z. in N.J. says:

If you didn’t say Charles “Packy” Axton then you need to have your head examined and your soul replaced!

  22. Ben says:

    Woah, that t-shirt is awesome!!

Big fan of Serge Gainsbourg over here. If I was so crass as to class ‘Wheedle’s Groove’ as an artist, it’d be that. LOVE that boxset so very much.

  23. ScottyJ says:

Way cool T. Historically speaking, it’s gotta be Packy Axton. I wouldn’t want to live in a world w/out Stax – and but for that old weird confluence of Packy heading a frat-house band and his mom (and uncle) having a dearth of product to throw their meager resources behind, that’s exactly the world I’d be living in today…
