REISSUE ALERT: DEATH

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

We love the music we put out here at Light In The Attic, and we hope you do too.  And as much as we’d love to have an army of musically inclined robots searching the world for the rare and wonderful albums that have slipped between the cracks, it’s a recession and we had to sell them.  Thus, we leave it up to the other absolutely brilliant labels currently operating today to help mine the past for what we believe the future will love.

Thus, we nearly had to change our pants after seeing that Drag City is reissuing this album:

This is African-American punk rock from the 1970s, and if the write-up over at The Fader (and the 5 minute political explosions that is “Politicians In My Eyes” doesn’t have whipping out a tent to start waiting in line at Best Buy, then your ear drums are most likely broken.

Seriously, thank you Drag City, we foam in jealousy but couldn’t be happier that this album is finally coming to light.
