It’s Friday! Y’all know the drill. We’re here to hook you up with some fresh jams before you head off into the weekend. This week we’re giving away the Big Boys’ debut Where’s My Towel? / Industry Standard on limited edition hand numbered LP with randomly packed colored wax (either green or white) AND the limited edition hand-numbered cassette (a collab with our friends at Burger Records)!
Famously, the Big Boys would end their sets with the foursome shouting, “OK y’all, go start your own band.” So, for your chance to win, go start your own fictitious band, fantasy football style! Pick any musicians (living or dead), tell us the lineup, and give yourselves a name! Winner will be chosen and announced next Friday! Be sure to leave your name and email address (kept private) in the proper field, so we can contact you if you win! Good luck, y’all! Have a great weekend!

BIG GIRLS:
Cass Elliot, Tina Weymouth and Meg White
Based on the Clapton question a few weeks ago, I would have an all Clapton band. Clapton on guitar. Clapton on bass. Clapton and keyboards. Clapton on drums. Clapton on sax. Clapton on tambourine. Clapton on cowbell. Clapton on the harmonica. Clapton on the spoons. Clapton on the fiddle. I firmly believe that Clapton is only good in a band, so a band of all Claptons would be amazing. I would totally put Iggy Pop on lead vocals of this all Clapton band though. They could name the band Iguana and the Slowhands.
me-Dirty Harry on vocals
Jimi Hendrix on guitar
John Frusciante on rhythm/lead guitar
Gene Simmons (in full KISS make up of course!) on bass guitar
and John Bonham on drums
we would be called Flaming Youth and our national tour would begin in Tuscon, Arizona for tactical purposes. a pending tour of Japan and Australia would be cancelled due to John Frusciante bailing mid gig due to a nuclear meltdown in Fukushima, Japan….end….of….story!
The band would include an all-stars line-up of the best street musicians from Montréal and would be called the ‘Regional orchestra of Montréal’ in homage to the Malians orchestras from th 70′s.
