  2. paul says:

Stevie Wayne for her sweet, sweet Moonlight Magic!

  3. Stephanie says:

My favorite character is Stevie Wayne because she’s, in my opinion, a different kind of horror movie heroine and her character is interesting.

  4. Juan Robles says:

Father Malone because he was the real hero of the movie. (and because of his beheading)

  5. Mark Knoth says:

Sandy Fadel played by Nancy Loomis for her spunky attitude and great chemistry with Janet Leigh.

It was a hard choice though…
I think at first thought,my favourite character would’ve been Stevie Wayne played by Adrienne Barbeau, because she was the cool radio DJ and Adrienne Barbeau is just awesome.
Secondly I would’ve said, hey Elizabeth Solley because she is played by “Scream Queen” Jamie Lee Curtis, but besides being Jamie Lee,there’s not much I like about the character…
But after some thought, and whenever I watch it,the character of Sandy Fadel played by Nancy Loomis always stands out.
She is always bickering with Janet Leigh’s Kathy Williams(who also gets an honaorable mention, because she’s Janet Leigh).
She’s such a great side character.
    So,I pick Sandy Fadel.

  6. Nick says:

Stevie Wayne for spinning the platters from the top of the world…Antonio Bay!

  7. Jesse says:

    Stevie Wayne. Cause she’s a deejay duh…

  8. Adrian says:

Dick Baxter – Easily one of the coolest names ever

  9. Johnnie says:

Gonna have to toss in my hat for Nick Castle as well. Tom Atkins is a horror folk hero, a force of nature on par with – or surpassing – the titular Fog.

  10. David Padgett says:

  11. Ann says:

The Fog – It is night. It is cold. It is coming.

  12. Spencer says:

Elizabeth. A young Jamie Lee Curtis? Yes, please (hermaphrodite rumors notwithstanding).

  13. Cahn Curtis says:

    Stevie W

  14. Kyle f. says:

Tom Atkins as Nick Castle. Atkins is the best! I got the new DVD reissue just for his commentary track and it is *very nice*

  15. Barry London says:

Mrs Kobritz the kindly old babysitter. Seriously, the scene when she goes for the knocking at the door terrified me when I was a kid. Nice old lady taking one for Stevie’s son. That is a solid babysitter.

  16. Heimito von Merwowinger says:

  17. Michael E Stephenson says:

Tom Atkins as Nick Castle. A largely thankless (and mustache-less) role, you can never beat an Atkins performance. Also, his character’s name is a reference to John Carpenter’s former classmate who played the Shape in ‘Halloween’ and went on to direct ‘The Last Starfighter’ (so double awesome).

  18. Loren Young says:

Tom atkins as Nick Castle bc when asked if he’s a weirdo he replies Yes!

  19. Gerald D. says:

There’s something about night time radio, so: Stevie Wayne. Her voice, the dark, the fog, the horror!

  20. Jay K. says:

    gotta be stevie wayne.

  21. Raymond Wallace says:

Love DJ Stevie Wayne, especially because she’s tough enough to survive a fight between two undead at the top of a lighthouse, BUT if I had to pick ONE favorite character, it would have to be Blake, who’s anger at being betrayed is powerful enough to bring him back from death and the deep, to successfully claim his revenge!

  22. Darrell G says:

Dr. Phibes is my fav character just because of his name..

  23. John J. says:

Mr. Machen (John Houseman) is my favorite character from The Fog because his creepy yarn about the doomed lepers aboard the Elizabeth Dane sets the tone for the rest of the film. His perfectly delivered lines gives the audience a clear mental image of the terror Blake and his men must have felt as their ship was destroyed on the rocks as well as forewarning us, with much mood and atmosphere, that these poor souls will return to Antonio Bay to exact a fog shrouded vengeance!

  24. angela C says:

    nick castle!

  25. mark Bailey says:

    Tom Atkins

  26. Richard Cabe says:

My favorite character is Blake, the green-eyed vengeful pirate ghost who gets Malone in the end. Think about it…what’s Blake going to do now? His quest as a vengeful ghost has ended. I mean..after all that time waiting for vengeance he can’t just rest into the afterlife…..that’s like exercising before bed and not being able to sleep! He’s like Conan after destroying Thulsa Doom…I part of his identity is shattered. He is truly the tragic hero….and remains sailing quietly along the waters of Antonio Bay…forever.

  27. Dominic says:

Tom Atkins and his luxurious moustache.

  28. James says:

My favorite character is Stevie Wayne because the character is played by Adrienne Barbeau and everything she stars in is instantly better with her in it (Escape From New York, Swamp Thing).

  29. Adam says:

Dr. Phibes! (Darwin Joston, R.I.P.) Bonus shout-out to “The Abominable Dr. Phibes”, my main man Vincent Price…

  30. J-F says:

    George “buck” flower.
    Just because he’s a fisherman.
    ‘Nuff said.
