The Big Dig is, amongst many, two very amazing things:

1.  The best damn record collecting meet-up this fair city of ours offers.  Not only does it feature 20 of the most well respected collectors in the nation (offering up rare and out-of-print vinyl in genres like punk, disco, reggae, soul, garage, R&B, psych, breaks, and jazz) but, in the background while you’re getting your motherfucking shop on, super-talented DJs spin to their hearts content.  This is record collecting heaven.  Angels will greet you at the door with beers and joints, and you will leave with stacks of albums you thought you’d never find.

We might be making up the whole angel thing.

2.  Sponsored by us, the fine folk at Light In The Attic.  What does this mean?  A good deal of amazing things such as: everything we, the smiling cherubs of Light In The Attic will be selling will be discounted a whopping twenty-five percent.  You’ll finally have money to supplement your pudding diet.  On top of that if you spend more than fifty dollars (a goddamn treasure horde in this fiscal environ) will be givin’ you a free 45.  What’s on that 45?  Well, you’ll have to be heading to the Big Dig to find out.
