Mono In VCF (L to R) Hunter Lea, Kim Miller, Jason Falk, Jordan Luckman

Our good friend Mono In VCF are making a real name for themselves these days. Blowing up on NPR, selling out shows, generally making yet another Washington-state related stamp on the national music scene.

So we’re especially happy to announce, for you lucky fuckers in the LA area that the band will be hosting a special listening party for their new self-titled album, next Tuesday, April 29th. The details are below but let us just highlight a few choice details about the event:

This show is completely free.  ONE HUNDRED PERCENT FREE.  Buy drinks, be drunk, be happy.

Go there, and be happy.

Full details after the break.

On Tuesday, April 29th at 9PM, Mono In VCF‘s Hunter Lea and Jordan Luckman will be hosting a listening party at VERDUGO in LA, for the upcoming release of their new self-titled debut album, released on STYLO Music and distributed by Light In The Attic Records. Come on by and meet the guys, knock back a few, and listen to some great music. In addition to hearing the new Mono In VCF album, Hunter will be spinning the likes of Scott Walker, Lee Hazelwood, various lost classics from the LHI catalogue, The Poppy Family, and tons of other dusty faves snatched from the jaws of obscurity. Will there be an open bar? Only those attending will know. Oh yeah, and it’s FREE.
