The New Year at Light in the Attic

Happy Belated New Year to All! We’re gearing up for a release heavy 2006 with a bit of psych, a dose of deep soul, a dash of reggae, and a kind helping of acid folk. Our goal after-all is to make you smile. For now though, let’s get to a few announcements…Pick up the latest issue of Spin for a nice recommendation of The Black Angels EP, which just hit #28 on the CMJ 200! In February, the band will be touring throughout the U.S. West Coast and Midwest. Tour dates available here. And… The Black Angels debut long-player is just around the corner… April 11th to be exact. This is the record we’ve waited all our lives to release. Honestly.Three titles from the Light In The Attic catalog are now available on iTunes. Light In The Attic is proud to be distributing the debut album by Seattle’s very own Blue Scholars – a definite must for fans of Blackalicious, Gang Starr, and Little Brother. In 2005 and exclusively in their native Washington State, the group literally sold over 10,000 copies of their self-released debut from the trunk of their car. Now in Feb 2006, the record hits worldwide via Light In The Attic Distribution. Take a peak at the latest issues of Rolling Stone, URB, and Spin for rave reviews on the disc. Available Now
