Wheedle’s Groove Benefit Concert for Katrina & Rita Hurricane Victims

Come check out the Wheedle’s Groove band as part of the Kenyon Hall Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert, Part II – a jumbo gumbo jam of Southern food and soulful music with 100% of the proceeds benefiting survivors of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The previous concert collected over $10,000, along with countless musical instruments for hurricane relief! This upcoming concert carries on the spirit and energy of the first. Please join us!

Wheedle’s Groove will hit the stage from 6 to 7pm and will feature such legendary artists as Robbie Hill (Family Affair, Black On White Affair), Patrinell Staten Wright, Ron Buford, Overton Berry, and Tony Gable (Cold, Bold & Together).

* Over a dozen live acts, including WHEEDLE’S GROOVE, TOTAL EXPERIENCE GOSPEL CHOIR, and Michael Powers

* NEW ORLEANS STYLE-FOOD and refreshments

* MUSICAL INSTRUMENT DRIVE by Deering Music to get instruments back in the hands of children and working musicians who lost them in the hurricanes

* All musicians, singers and chefs are donating their services

* Kenyon Hall and kitchen are donated by Lou Magor
